Prove you're alive.

Currently Listening to:
"Preaching to the Choir Invisible, Pt II" by Quiet Company

(Top by Liz Lange for Target, leggings by Miss Juli, heels from Forever 21.)

I don't know why, but lately I've been finding myself more and more inspired by the edgier side of fashion. I'm really digging neutral, black and gray especially, as well as dark shades and jewel tones like ruby and raspberry and chartreuse. Of course, that's not to say that I still don't love me some lace and a great pencil skirt, but my mood seems to be shifting with the season, I guess. The leaves are changing and so am I. (And that's not a bad thing, I don't think?) You all know me: I'm usually a Spring and Summer kind of gal, but... I don't know what it is about this Fall, but it has me itching to throw on huge, slouchy sweaters and super skinny jeans. Unfortunately, I don't have many of either of those, but I guess that gives me a good reason to shop, huh?

Do any of you, my fabulous readers, happen to have any suggestions on where to look for the perfect Fall sweaters and skinnies? (Preferably that carry size XL?) If so, I'm all ears! :}

xoxo Coco

  4. I've just found your blog, and I'm in love, the images here are just what I want to be wearing (when I stop being lazy) I'm all for my usual 'walking bazaar' type fashion, but I love this look. . . my favourite jeans come from a brazillian company - they are a little hard to track down, they were called fragile, then they changed to domaine, and I think they have changed again, but they carry half sizes so they are the perfect fit, and for proper jeans (i.e. not jeggings) they are sooo stretchy and comfy - if you find a pair, totally worth it, I'm between a size 12 and 14 (UK - I don't know what that is elsewhere) and they are they ONLY jeans I will buy now!

  9. I am in love with this look!

    This is pretty much how I usually dress haha... I'm looking around for a pair of high-waisted black skinnies but it's so hard to find my size... anything my size is too long... it's like short curvy girls don't exist except for me! :(

    For chunky sweaters, I like getting them vintage or thrifted.... I find that most of the 'new' ones you can buy now are usually bad quality (only last a couple of wears and are thin and cheap quality). Club Monaco has some nice cashmere and wool ones last year though!

  14. You look so hot :) For big sweaters I would say... Asos? I was thinking the same a few days ago but I finally decided I will first check my daddys closet for some old, chunky oversized sweaters... I am on the mood of making it cheap :)

  18. AMAZING photos! You look amazing in that lipstick.

    And to answer your question, I got those boots at an off-price retailer named Gabriel Brothers. They only have like 13 locations but they were only 12$. STEAL!

    I'm not sure what the original brand is...some of the stuff comes from Urban Outfitters though.
